Timothy Reents

Director of Campus Safety

 

Tim’s career spans 28 years with the Illinois State Police. He recently retired as district commander of the Illinois State Police District 18, Litchfield. He has received many awards including the Director’s Award for Outstanding Contributions in Law Enforcement, MSI Task Force, presented by U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno; the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI Special Commendation, presented by FBI Director Louis Freeh; the Illinois State Police Meritorious Service Award, MSI Task Force, presented by Director Terry Gainer; the Illinois Medal of Integrity, presented by Mick Charles, Director of the Police Training Institute, University of Illinois; the Illinois State Police Meritorious Service Award, presented by Director James Zagel; District 16 Police Officer of the Year Award; and, the Policing for Results Award.

He is very active in the community and is currently President of the Litchfield Board of Education and serves on the St. Francis Hospital Board of Directors. He and his wife, Cindy, reside with their family in Litchfield, IL.

  • Locking  & Unlocking Buildings
  • Nightly Campus Patrols
  • Student Escorts
  • Assists Fire Marshall in Handling Fire Alarms
  • Assists Resident Life Staff in All Dorms
  • Oversees All Parking Regulations, Violations,  & Stickers
  • Provide Crowd Behavior Control at All Athletic Events
  • Monitors the Blackburn College HELP Line
  • On-Call for Emergencies
