On Wednesday, September 12, Dr. Karen Dillon, Chair of English & Communications, took six Blackburn students to hear Pulitzer-Prize winning author, Colson Whitehead speak at Illinois College about his recent book (the Pulitzer winner) The Underground Railroad. Whitehead autographed the students’ books and took a group photo with them.
