A modified Spring 2021 academic schedule was approved in September 2020 to help keep our Blackburn community safe.

Monday, January 25 | Classes begin |
Tuesday, January 26 | Work Program training, academic advising; classes canceled |
Monday, February 3 | Last day to register, add a course, declare a course to be taken pass/fail, or drop a course without a “W” grade or fee |
Friday, March 12 | Spring break begins, 5:00 p.m. |
Monday, March 15 | Midterm grade rosters due |
Tuesday, March 16 | Course instruction resumes, 8:00 a.m. |
Wednesday, March 24 | Last day to drop a class with a “W” grade |
Monday, March 29 | Early registration of currently registered students begins for the Fall 2021 semester |
Monday, April 19 | Last day to withdraw passing from a course |

Fall Semester 2020
The Fall 2020 academic schedule has been modified to help keep our Blackburn community safe.
Specifically:
- Classes will meet on Labor Day, September 7
- There will not be a Fall Break
- Students will return home for the semester after classes and work on November 24
- November 30 will be reading day
- DIPS (Final exams) will be held remotely, December 1-4

Friday, December 4 | Finals / DIP ends and course instruction ends |
Saturday, December 5 | Winter Break begins |
Early Check-in
Early Check-In will begin Monday, August 3rd. Offices will be open from 9am-3pm during that time. This is a time for students to visit campus early and take care of financial matters, visit the bookstore, get a parking sticker, student ID, etc.
Move-In Dates
To allow for more social distancing and a staggered return to campus, we will now have three days available for students to move into their residence halls. Students should go directly to their residence halls to receive their keys this year.
Friday, August 14:
Returning Students Only.
Offices on campus open 9am-3pm to pay bills and remove holds.
Keys available at your residence hall from 9am-9pm.
Saturday, August 15:
New Students Only.
Offices on campus open 9am-3pm to pay bills and remove holds.
Keys available at your residence hall from 9am-9pm.
Sunday, August 16:
All Students that need extra time to arrive on campus.
Offices will not be open.
Keys available at your residence hall from 9am-9pm.
Holds
Students will be given a 7 day grace period to remove financial holds from their accounts. Students with financial holds on their accounts after Wednesday, August 25th will have to move-off campus.
