DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in playing video games with friends as an extracurricular activity? Looking for a fun competitive environment or a place to try out some new games? \nFor the first time the Blackburn Computer Science Department is putting on the Intramural Gaming League. Participants will go head to head in teams of 4\, competing weekly in different games. We won’t just be playing just one game\, but a new one each week over a 6 week period to test a variety of skill sets\, making team balancing all the more essential. \nStudents\, staff\, and faculty are welcome to participate. You can come with a team of four put together\, or you can come with fewer than that. At the starting date\, you will be placed or combined with other groups or people to create a team of four. SUMMARY:Intramural Gaming League (IGL)
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in playing video games with friends as an extracurricular activity? Looking for a fun competitive environment or a place to try out some new games? \nFor the first time the Blackburn Computer Science Department is putting on the Intramural Gaming League. Participants will go head to head in teams of 4\, competing weekly in different games. We won’t just be playing just one game\, but a new one each week over a 6 week period to test a variety of skill sets\, making team balancing all the more essential. \nStudents\, staff\, and faculty are welcome to participate. You can come with a team of four put together\, or you can come with fewer than that. At the starting date\, you will be placed or combined with other groups or people to create a team of four. If you have any interest in participating\, feel free to follow the link below to sign up. \nSign Up Link: https://forms.gle/9vBp58wKXJTJTUZN7 \nOur starting date or “Week 0” will be Saturday\, September 16th\, at 10am in Hudson Computer Lab. There we will decide on upcoming games and finalize teams. Each week at the same time and place we will meet back up to play! DESCRIPTION:The Calm Club is hosting a 2-mile on-campus run\, and all are welcome to participate\, including walkers. Wearing white is encouraged to be hit by colored powder\, and the club can provide a white T-shirt if needed. Pet owners can bring their pets along as the powder is pet-friendly. Dr. Hopper will also participate and get covered in powder. The event starts at 8:00 am at the DCC Patio.

The theme\, “Dream On\,” is central to the focus of the Music department for this year: growth\, goals\, and dreams. Blackburn’s Voice Instructor\, Professor Cady Thomas Potts\, will direct the concert.
