Adjunct Instructor of Voice

Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL seeks applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Voice. The successful candidate will teach Applied Voice Lessons, Class Voice, and Lyric Diction and Vocal Literature. Master’s degree in vocal performance or related academic field required. Previous teaching experience preferred.

The Blackburn College Department of Music and Theatre is launching a new, career-focused Vocal Performance Music major that combines musical craft and entrepreneurial skills to prepare graduates to work in music upon completion of their undergraduate degree. Instructional emphasis is student-centered learning and inclusivity of styles.
