Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL, seeks applications to the full-time position of traveling Admissions Counselor. Candidates must be energetic, creative, highly organized and able to communicate effectively with prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and community college transfer counselors. Responsibilities include evening and weekend work, extensive recruitment travel, conducting interviews, telemarketing and electronic communication with prospective students. Possession of a reliable means of transportation, valid driver’s license and state’s mandatory insurance coverage are required. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and working knowledge of personal computers. Prior admissions experience is preferred.
