Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL, seeks applications for the position of Director of Student Engagement.  The Director will serve as a professional staff member in the Office of Student Life under the supervision of the Vice President of Diverse & Equitable Student Life. The Director will be responsible for the leadership and administrative oversight of a comprehensive student engagement program serving the Blackburn College student body.

A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, while a Master’s degree as well as prior experience in student engagement on a college campus is preferred. The successful candidate must connect well with diverse groups of college students and demonstrate strong people, project, and time management skills. In addition, the successful candidate must be a self-starter and be willing to work frequent night and weekend hours.
