Part-Time Institutional Advancement Coordinator

Blackburn College, a unique liberal arts college with a student-managed work program, invites applications for the position of part-time Institutional Advancement Coordinator.   

Under the direction of the V.P for Institutional Advancement this person’s primary responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, teaching, motivating, and supervising student staff
  • Assisting with maintaining the alumni and donor database
  • Maintaining and enforcing the departmental calendar
  • Supervising and coordinating the ordering and receiving of supplies
  • Assisting with stewardship activities including ordering of plaques and other recognition
  • Assisting with alumni relations events
  • Providing support for Planned Giving and manage relationship with Crescendo
  • Overseeing Fund Agreement approval process and maintaining Fund Agreement files
  • Other duties as assigned

A Bachelor’s degree and office experience or equivalent training/experience and an attention to detail and accuracy is required. Candidates must exhibit the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working independently, as well as functioning cooperatively in a team environment.
