Blackburn College, a unique four-year liberal arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, IL, seeks applications for the position of Utilities Supervisor. The Utilities Supervisor will coordinate, oversee and perform all operations and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, heating, and fire alarm systems for the entire Physical Plant. They are also charged with maintaining the hardware of the energy management system and aid with software troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent, some college or significant experience and post-secondary technical schooling preferred.
• Knowledge in all aspects of physical plant operations and maintenance, including ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics and manuals.
• Knowledge in the general field of commercial electrical wiring and plumbing systems with a good understanding of the basics of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems.
• Proven ability to plan and supervise work of others; team oriented
