You can find psychologists in a variety of jobs: Psychologists are innovators, meeting the changing needs of people, organizations and societies. They work with clients and patients, as well as with organizations and communities. They diagnose and treat people. Psychologists conduct both basic and applied research. Some may teach future psychologists. Many psychologists work as heath care providers. They assess behavioral and mental function and well-being and test intelligence and personality.

With a psychology career there is great potential to make a difference in people’s lives. Some places that employ psychologists are laboratories, hospitals, courtrooms, schools and universities, community health centers, prisons, and corporate offices.
