
April 10, 2015, Carlinville, IL — On Wednesday, April 22, Blackburn College will host “The Second City: Improv All-Stars.” As part of the college’s Arts & Issues series, the legendary group will perform an irresistible show of improvised comedy. Held in Bothwell Auditorium, the show begins at 8 p.m. and is open to the public at a cost of $5. Tickets are available for purchase at the door.
The masters of the form will astound you with their talent, skill and wit– all without the aid of scripts or sets. Fresh, fast and always spectacularly funny, The Second City is celebrating 55 years of producing cutting-edge satirical revues and has launched the careers of legends like Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and more.
