Job Description

Duties include:

• Tutoring General Chemistry one evening a week, including communicating with the faculty regarding material to be covered each week
• General Chem lab proctoring/set-up, including informing Stockroom Manager of needed chemicals, equipment, etc. for each General Chem lab
• Grading General Chem labs
• May also be asked to carry out similar tasks for contemporary chem as
• needed

Qualifications

• Earned at least a B in General Chemistry I and II (or equivalent courses)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision while finishing work in a prompt
• and timely manner
• Ability to follow directions and work within safety guidelines
