Job Description

The Concert Producer, working with the Music faculty, is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Blackburn Music performances. Acting as a communication hub, the Producer coordinates staff, equipment, ticketing, media, and other necessary components of a performance. Performances include choir concerts, recitals, choir tours, and other events.

The position encompasses a wide range of tasks: washing costumes, inventorying supplies, coordinating with Ding, corresponding with high school and church choir directors, and much more. A successful producer will be hard-working, organized, professional, diplomatic, charismatic, and highly efficient.

This position works alongside the other Music Office workers and will complete additional tasks as assigned. All students working in the Music Office will perform duties that support the productive functioning of the department.

• strong communication skills
• ability to work independently
• 2.0 GPA
