Job Description

  • Communication: writing, designing and/or distributing correspondence, teaching materials, department records, and promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and announcements regarding academic or extracurricular programs; scheduling meetings/conferences as the need arises
  • Research: conducting library and other searches for materials needed to support course work and committee work, including journal articles, books, files, films, and music
  • Clerical: cleaning and making secure the outer office; filing, copying and/or distributing teaching materials; organizing and maintaining department records
  • Miscellaneous: proctoring exams, gathering papers, etc. when necessary

Qualifications

Preference will be given to the following. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite and Canva preferred
