Blackburn College has named Carter LeRoy as the new Men’s and Women’s Golf Head Coach. LeRoy comes to Blackburn after serving as an assistant coach at Governors State University where he supported all phases of a collegiate golf program including recruiting, training, compliance, travel, and academic support. His role saw him lead swing and data analysis using modern performance tools; track player metrics and adjust regimens accordingly. He helped promote team culture through leadership development, academic check-ins, and one-on-one mentorship.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Leroy as our new Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach,” said Director of Athletics, Kim Camara-Harvey. “Carter brings tremendous passion for the game and a proven ability to develop student-athletes both on the course and in the classroom. We look forward to the impact he will make on our golf programs and the entire campus community.”

“I am so greatly appreciative for the opportunity to lead this program,” LeRoy said. “I see a bright future ahead for both the men’s and women’s golf programs. I can’t wait to help guide these golfers through their collegiate careers on and off the course.”
