Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Field Day

Field Day is an event where students and staff all come together to support and host a fun day for students and people in the community who are neurodiverse. The College’s Council for Exceptional Children chapter will host local Macoupin Center For The Developmentally Disabled (MCDD) and transitional programs out of Carlinville Middle and High Schools for a Blackburn-style Special Olympics.

The event serves as a great learning opportunity for those who have interest in going into the education field and well beyond as we see most these students in and around town as well.

It also strengthens our community ties with local development centers in the Carlinville community.
