Blackburn College will celebrate the holiday season with its annual Christmas at Blackburn event. Autumn Switzer will present songs and monologues to tell a story of life. This concert will be held at 6 pm on February 3 in Bothwell Auditorium.
In Bothwell Auditorium, Dr. Whitney Myers, a world-class performer, will work with Blackburn College’s vocal students, provide them with feedback, and help them with their performances. Funding for this event provided by The Art & Issues Committee.
Guest Artist Dr. Whitney Myers will perform the Wagner Wesendonck Lieder, alongside Blackburn Professor Dr. Joseph Welch, and lecture on the story surrounding its composition. Funding for this event provided by The Art & Issues Committee.
Blackburn Voice and Piano students will perform a variety of music they have been working on for the past two semesters at Blackburn’s Clegg Chapel. This event is both free and open to the public.
