Out of the eight Work Colleges in the country, Blackburn College is the only student-managed Work Program. Whether you are managing one of the 12 departments, acting as an Assistant Manager/Crewhead, or holding a General Worker position, each role on campus is vital. The Work Program is an integral part of life at Blackburn because of the knowledge and skills that students gain at their workplace. The student-managed Work Program is what sets Blackburn apart from any other four year, liberal arts, private colleges. Partnering with the nation’s seven other Work Program colleges through the Work College Consortium, the Program seeks to provide a well-rounded educational experience, while preparing students for life after graduation.
