Music Apply For Free

While most music degrees are focused exclusively on refining performance skills, Blackburn’s Music program combines technical craft with in-depth entrepreneurial knowledge needed to launch professional careers in the music industry. Modeled by real-world career experiences, you will build business competence and income-producing skills necessary to enter the workforce upon completion of your degree.

Build your brand, create press kits, cultivate a social media presence, and learn how to manage finances as a freelance artist and independent contractor. Strengthen your skills with personalized faculty coaching, guest artist master classes, and professional mentorship. Showcase your musical craft during live, stage-based performances and concert series on campus and in the surrounding community. Launch a business plan and host a senior recital to complete your degree and kickstart your professional career

You can earn a bachelor of arts degree in music with specializations in piano and voice performance. Your time in the program will be enhanced by Blackburn’s state-of-the-art performance facilities, the current faculty, and the college’s unique student-led work program.
