Blackburn offers an educational experience like no other institution.
The combination of a challenging academic program, the unique student managed work program, and the varied opportunities for leadership-building experience all combine to provide a very beneficial education that leads to greater success. Blackburn students study and work hard. They are also very successful—with incredibly high numbers of graduates being employed or continuing their education six months after graduation.

Dr. Karla McCain serves as the provost of the college. As the institution’s leading academic officer, McCain serves as a key member of the President’s leadership team and provides administrative oversight for the college’s Academic Divisions, Technology Services, the Registrar, Institutional Research, as well as Lumpkin Learning Commons and the Student Success Center. She also assists in the development of Blackburn’s strategic plan and priorities.
