Blackburn College invites applications for a dynamic Head Men’s & Women’s Golf Coach to lead and grow our NCAA Division III golf programs. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to develop championship-caliber teams while taking full advantage of Blackburn’s brand-new, state-of-the-art Golf Performance Center.

Spanning 1,900 square feet, this cutting-edge training facility features two golf simulators and an indoor pitching and putting green, making it one of the premier on-campus golf training facilities in the region. The selected candidate will not only serve as the head coach, but also oversee the daily operations of this facility and play a key role in student-athlete development, recruitment, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Men’s & Women’s Golf Programs.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor student-athletes, fostering success both athletically and academically.
  • Create a winning culture built on integrity, discipline, and sportsmanship.
  • Oversee scheduling, travel, budgeting, and compliance with college, conference, and governing body regulations.
  • Engage with campus and community to promote program growth and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Previous coaching experience (head or assistant) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of NCAA III rules and regulations
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop student-athletes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel for recruiting and competitions.

The salary range for this position will be $50,000-$55,000 per year.
