As a Blackburn student, there are countless ways to experience life and get involved outside the classroom. You have diverse opportunities to connect with campus, enjoy events, join student groups and organizations, share meaningful adventures and find community.

Blackburn’s Office of Student Life is committed to providing engaging and recreational activities in an inclusive, supportive environment.

Campus Activities Board

The Campus Activities Board, popularly known as “CAB,” helps to make Blackburn a fun and exciting place to be for students! CAB is a collaborative effort of students, staff, and campus partners to help envision, plan, and execute enjoyable activities for the campus where everyone is welcome. Some popular regular CAB events include Platinum Bingo, the Spring Semi-Formal Dance, Milkshake Monday, and Karaoke Night. All CAB activities are free or low-cost for students to attend.

Campus Recreation

Exercising mind, body, and spirit. Recreation programs improve the student experience in many different ways. Representing the active spirit of student development and living outside the classroom, we partner with other areas on campus to offer opportunities to get moving and enhance overall wellness. It also happens to be lots of fun!
